Veterans Day - Cannons & Beach

American Samoa government employees have every U.S. federal holiday and all American Samoan holidays off work. On Veterans Day, a group of us decided to take advantage of our freedom by hiking to some WWII era cannons located on the east side of the harbor:

After the short cannon hike, we headed to the beach at Tula (furthest east beach on Tutuila Island). Here's some fales and other structures lining the beach. Note the large Samoan gentleman relaxing in the fale:
